Minimalism

"For Needy the world holds Everything, For Greedy whole Universe does not count as anything".

Minimalism (choose only those things that you really need)

If I don't own it, then I Don't have to dust it.

Minimalism describes the Behavior of mind in which we choose what is really needed from our lifestyle, environment and learning. It is a childlike trick, “More options, More confusion”. Keep minimal things in hand at one time and it will increase the efficiency and focus on what really needs to be done and planned. All successful people follow this method, for running a long marathon. When you have an aim to win , you cannot carry many things with you , the only goal is the Finish Line.

Minimalism holds the natural meditation teaching that Buddha stated, "Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace".

Due to Social medias, advertisements, and surroundings, people of the world think, consumption is Happiness. "If we have a big house, big car, beautiful skin and look, we will be really happy", is the general psychology these days.

Today acceptance is measured on Follow Count on Twitter and Instagram. Until someone does not talk about us or react to what we do, we do not feel our existence. In this process if things go wrong we start feeling distorted, depressed as if losing something valuable.

Minimalism stops you from being settled and comfortable, rather, it makes you understand the necessity and the value of people and things.

Minimalism says:-

  • Have Friends , rather than more Friends
  • You need to Accept yourself, rather than expecting others to accept you.
  • Hold materialistic things which you really need.
  • Spend time, emotion and money on what really benefits you.
  • Find happiness in small moments and things.
The concept of Minimalism helps you to be true to yourself as well as to your family and friends. It stops you from being egoistic and greedy. The people who follow minimalism are usually polite and humble. They achieve great heights by keeping patience and focus on what steps need to be taken, when and how.

Here is an Short poem by a wanderer:-

I want a ladder, world so high,
But then how will I see the beautiful sky.
I do have lots of Friends, who are following the millions of trends,
However, whenever I need them, I don't know why they shy
Having the things with so much cost,
Build a game, losing of gain, gaining of lost.
It's a life sometimes you feel cool, other times hot,
But what you really need for existence  is food for thought.

Minimalism  is being practiced by many meditation camps and many authors have exemplified this so beautifully. Minimalism holds the patience and learning with the flow of  time and makes one enjoy the process of it.

These days a rat race is going on, in which our machine is being fed with many types of continuous  ways of happiness and lets you lose the meaning of it. By practicing these things in our family and in ourselves, it will change the thoughts of the upcoming generation thought process and eventually we will lead to a better world.

Don't confuse yourself with Minimalism and the following things:-
  • Accepting your situation and not doing anything for progress.
  • Understanding your needs and not your loved ones.
  • Limit your potential and loose pace and touch with time.
  • Leaving everything behind and becoming a monk is best.
As a great saying goes, "Never be satisfied by yourself, Once satisfied your development stops". So says the concept of Minimalism. Progress keeping the most necessary things in hand.

I will conclude the story by saying that everything in this world is for all of us, we just need to choose what we really need and keep ourselves in motion with it. Minimize your unnecessary thought process which is not taking you anywhere. Make list of people and things which really matter to you and start working for them. We are the people of the world and we need to make changes, no one is going to do that work for us.

The mind is everything. What you think, you become.
